A challenging project to kick start 2023

We love a challenge at SC4, and we definitely started the year with one. This connection node was a demanding piece of fabrication with multiple components at various angles and full-strength butt welds. It was a little out of the ordinary, but these are the projects we love doing as it really puts our skills to the test, lets us try new techniques and continues to improve our offering for future projects.

This is a significant milestone for the company, as it not only acknowledges our expertise in steel fabrication and processing, but it also provides us with access to the latest industry information and resources.

Community Project Rainbow Activity

Scunthorpe residents Andrew and Donna Clifford approached us last year with the idea of a baby memorial garden in our local Central Park. After experiencing every parents worse nightmare, Andrew & Donna tragically lost their baby boy Rory when he was just nine days old, something no parent should ever have to go through, yet many sadly do. In the midst of their unbearable grief, they told us how a rainbow would always appear at the most poignant times, and they knew it was Rory letting them know he was ok.

Our business is passionate about the environment! We have taken steps to reduce our energy consumption, lowering our carbon emissions for our loved local community. As a business we have invested in Efficient Heating and LED lights. This will make a huge difference to the environment and this is just the start of our sustainable journey.
