Our state-of-the-art coping robot has been commissioned predominantly to produce cellular beams. The hi-def plasma profiling robot makes portholes in steel sections resulting in a high quality, structural cellular beam. SC4 are now able to offer customers cellular beams competitively in high volumes.

As well as improving the services previously offered, the addition of our coping robot means we can now also offer;

Double mitres
Compound mitres
Skew cuts
Tapered TEEs
Web openings on beams and plate girders
Weld preps including notches and rat holes.

Faster Turnarounds

Our Coping Robot helped us make over 900 of these scallop end beams, including holes and slots, in various lengths for a recent customer. We then delivered them in sequenced lots to suit our customer’s fabrication schedule.
